Getaway Unpacked Edit

ranked among the finest beaches in the Caribbean — wide white sand, calm turquoise water, free public palapas, and far fewer crowds than Palm Beach. Best in the morning before 10am.

Why It’s Worth Your Time

Eagle Beach earns its reputation as the Caribbean's finest beach — the sand is exceptionally soft and white; the water is calm and brilliantly clear; and the beach is wide enough that it never feels crowded even at peak season. Free palapas (palm-thatched sunshades built into the sand) are available on a first-come basis and are notably rare at this quality elsewhere in the region. The fofoti trees at the southern end are a natural landmark. The beach is a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Manor and directly in front of Bucuti & Tara. Arrive before 10am for palapas and the best light.
