A Barceloneta seafood institution operating since 1903 — the white tablecloth, the professional service, the fideuà negra (squid ink noodles) and the suquet de peix (Catalan fish stew) are exactly as they should be. Not fashionable, not Instagram-ready, entirely excellent. One of the last survivors of a style of Barcelona restaurant that the city's rapid gentrification has largely swept away.
