Dublin, Ireland — Things to Do

Whiskey Distillery Trail

Experience

Getaway Unpacked Edit

Dublin has more working whiskey distilleries than any other city. The Liberties cluster — Teeling, Roe & Co, Pearse Lyons — all offer excellent tours within walking distance of each other.

Why It’s Worth Your Time

The Liberties has three distilleries within walking distance: Teeling (Ireland's first new Dublin distillery in 125 years, opened 2015); Roe & Co (in the former Guinness Power Station); and Pearse Lyons (in a converted 19th-century church). The Old Jameson Distillery in Smithfield is the most visitor-friendly introduction.
