Atzaró Agroturismo

Getaway Unpacked Edit

The definitive rural Ibiza hotel — a 300-year-old finca set among orange groves and gardens near Sant Llorenç, where expansive grounds, a destination spa, and farm-to-table dining define the island’s bohemian-luxury identity.

Why We Chose It

Atzaró opened in the early 2000s as a converted 300-year-old finca in the agricultural interior between Santa Eulalia and the north coast — the first hotel to articulate a luxury vision for Ibiza that had nothing to do with the beach club and club circuit. The 13-hectare estate (orange groves, olive trees, jasmine and bougainvillea gardens, herb beds providing fresh produce for the kitchen) creates the sensory environment that the hotel's concept requires: arriving at Atzaró means arriving in a different Ibiza, where the island's agricultural character (recognized in its official name, 'the island of the pine trees') is the dominant impression rather than the party infrastructure. Three pools (the main pool, a smaller adults-only pool, and the spa lap pool), the Atzaró Spa (hamman, sauna, treatment rooms using locally grown botanical ingredients), and La Veranda restaurant (farm-to-table, with much produce from the estate's own gardens) provide the infrastructure. The property also hosts art exhibitions, fashion events, and live acoustic music in season — a cultural program that reflects the Ibiza that the owners and staff actually inhabit. Note: Atzaró is a seasonal property (typically April–October).

What Stands Out

  • Most celebrated rural hotel on Ibiza: the reference for 'authentic Ibiza luxury' since the early 2000s
  • 13 hectares of orange groves and gardens: the most complete sensory immersion in the island's agricultural character
  • Atzaró Spa with hamman, long lap pool, and botanical treatments: among the finest spa experiences in the Balearics
  • La Veranda farm-to-table restaurant: estate-grown produce applied to Mediterranean cuisine — the most cohesive farm-to-table in Ibiza
  • Art exhibitions and acoustic music in season: the cultural program that makes Atzaró feel like it belongs to the real Ibiza
