Why We Chose It
A true Jackson Hole original — a 1941 landmark just off Town Square that captures the town’s Western identity better than anywhere else. Built by the Wort family as Jackson’s first luxury hotel, it helped transition the valley from a ranching outpost to a tourism destination and has remained the social center of town ever since.
