The island's largest private beach at 1,100 feet, 311 reimagined rooms with tropical-chic interiors, and the premier full-service resort package in Key West. CNT Readers' Choice 2025.

Why We Chose It

Casa Marina is the grande dame of Key West hotels — opened by Henry Flagler on January 1, 1920, on the island's south shore, and returned to peak form in 2025 following an $80 million renovation. All 311 rooms and suites have been completely redone, with rattans, woven fabrics, wooden furnishings, and patterned flooring creating a new-meets-old tropical chic. The 1,100-foot private beach is the largest in Key West — giving Casa Marina the feel of a true beachfront tropical resort in a city where private beaches are rare. The south shore location is a slightly longer walk to Duval Street, but the peaceful setting and sheer scale of the property more than compensate.
