Los Cabos — Things to Do

San José del Cabo Art District & Thursday Walk

Culture

Getaway Unpacked Edit

Every Thursday evening October through June, San José del Cabo's cobblestone Art District hosts its famous Art Walk — galleries open their doors, musicians play, and mezcal flows.

Why It’s Worth Your Time

The Thursday Art Walk is the social event of the week in Los Cabos — the cobblestone streets of San José del Cabo's Art District fill with locals and tourists as galleries open their doors to live music, artist demonstrations, and open bars. It's one of the few genuinely Mexican experiences available in an otherwise resort-heavy destination. Even on non-Walk nights, the Art District has the best restaurant density in Los Cabos — Lumbre, Don Sanchez, and Jazamango are all within walking distance.
