Why It’s Worth Your Time
The best surfing in Los Cabos is on the Pacific side, away from the resort corridor. Zippers, near the East Cape, is a fast right-hand point break that works best November–April with offshore winds. The Rock (Monuments) near the Pacific tip has heavier barrels for more advanced surfers. Mike Doyle Surf School and Cabo Surf Hotel near Zippers are the most established operations. The Sea of Cortez side is generally too calm for surfing — go to the Pacific side.
