Manhattan, New York City — Hotels

The St. Regis New York

Fifth Avenue · Butler Service · King Cole Bar

Getaway Unpacked Edit

Classic Fifth Avenue luxury — butler service, marble interiors, and one of the city’s great bar rooms.

Why We Chose It

The original white-glove Midtown luxury hotel — the St. Regis on Fifth Avenue at 55th Street opened in 1904 and has maintained butler service on every floor ever since. Every room is a junior suite or larger; the marble bathrooms and traditionally appointed interiors reflect the property's Beaux-Arts bones. The King Cole Bar — with its famous Maxfield Parrish mural above the bar, originally commissioned for the Knickerbocker — is one of the great Manhattan bar rooms. Ideal for guests who want formal, attentive luxury in a property with genuine institutional weight.

What Stands Out
