The original Wynwood Walls (curated and enclosed, $12 admission) is the nucleus; the surrounding streets (NW 2nd Avenue, NW 24th Street, NW 25th Street) extend the gallery for blocks in every direction with free murals. The neighborhood is best explored in the morning (the light on the murals is best before noon, and the Wynwood Walls opens at 10:30am) and in the evening when the restaurants and bars fill. The Wynwood Walls is free on the first Friday of every month.
