Why We Chose It
Designed by Olga Polizzi and set within the 13th-century St. Thomas Monastery complex in Malá Strana, the Augustine is the hotel that most authentically reflects Prague's distinctive beauty. Religious motifs are woven subtly into curtains and cushions; the Refractory Bar serves the monastery's own brewed beer; guided tours of the adjacent church and library are available by arrangement. Between Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, in the city's most atmospheric neighborhood.
