A 1902 textile mill converted into San Miguel's premier art and design complex — 50+ galleries, studios, design boutiques, and restaurants in an elegant industrial building. The best single destination for art on the island.
Why It’s Worth Your Time
Fábrica La Aurora is a 1902 industrial textile mill in Colonia San Antonio, now housing more than 50 galleries, artists' studios, design boutiques, antique dealers, and restaurants under its original brick-vaulted ceilings. It is the largest concentration of art and design in San Miguel, and the quality is thoroughly high — both established artists and emerging figures have spaces here. Saturday mornings have the most activity. The city also has gallery walks on the first Friday of the month (Art Friday/Viernes Cultural) in the Centro and Guadalupe districts, when galleries open late and wine is poured.
