The most scenic hike in Greece — the 11km caldera trail from Fira to Oia, following the clifftop from the capital through Firostefani and Imerovigli all the way to Oia, with uninterrupted views of the volcano, caldera, and sea throughout. 3–4 hours one-way. Start in Fira and end in Oia (easy to bus back). Best done at sunrise (leave Fira by 6am) before the heat and crowds. The path passes all three caldera villages and the Skaros Rock detour.
