Bolongo Bay is the top mid-range resort on St. Thomas — a family-owned property that has been operating since 1969 on a quiet south-shore bay with a long sandy beach, excellent water sports (windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling all included), and an informal, welcoming atmosphere. The all-inclusive option (optional, not mandatory) includes meals, drinks, and most water sports, making it excellent value by Caribbean standards. The resort organizes snorkeling trips to nearby bays and day sails to St. John. The vibe is relaxed, unpretentious, and loyal — many guests have been coming annually for 20+ years. Not glamorous, but deeply enjoyable.
