Stuart Cove's Shark Dive

Adventure

Getaway Unpacked Edit

Nassau's premier dive experience — Stuart Cove's professional shark dive puts certified divers in the water with Caribbean reef sharks in a controlled feed setting, one of the original shark dives in the world.

Why It’s Worth Your Time

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas has been running the definitive Nassau shark dive since the 1980s and has been featured in countless shark documentaries and adventure travel lists. The shark feed dive takes certified divers down to 40 feet where Caribbean reef sharks (typically 12–16 of them) are attracted to a feeding station. The sharks are not harassed or provoked — the dive is carefully managed and injuries are extremely rare. The company also offers underwater scooter tours, wall dives, and a beginner introductory shark experience for non-certified divers. The dive sites off southwestern New Providence are excellent independent of the sharks.
