Pink Sands Resort

Harbour Island — Boutique — 25 Cottages

Getaway Unpacked Edit

Twenty-five private garden cottages across three acres, directly above Harbour Island's legendary pink sand. A beloved boutique address for decades.

Why We Chose It

Pink Sands has been the resort on Harbour Island since it opened — a collection of 25 cottages tucked into lush gardens with direct access to the three-mile pink sand beach. Owned by Island Outpost (Chris Blackwell's collection of Caribbean properties), the resort has a quietly bohemian personality: art on the walls, mismatched antiques, hammocks between palm trees, and a beach that turns every shade of rose as the sun sets. The restaurant, The Blue Bar, is the best table on Briland. Cottages vary from Garden to Beachfront — pay the premium for beachfront.

What Stands Out

  • Direct access to the pink sand beach — 3 miles of blush shoreline
  • 25 private cottages with tropical garden settings
  • The Blue Bar restaurant — best dinner on Harbour Island
  • Chris Blackwell's Island Outpost collection — original bohemian luxury
  • Golf cart provided — the only way to get around
