Why It’s Worth Your Time
The original Seven Mile Bridge (now decommissioned for cars) runs parallel to the new bridge and serves as the world's longest fishing pier and a spectacular walking/cycling path. Park at the Marathon end and walk or cycle out over open ocean. The views — a straight horizon of turquoise water in every direction — are unlike anything else in the continental US. Sunrise is exceptional.
